We urgently require a Supervisor to work within the Traction Rewinds Department of the fastest growing, most customer focused, electric motor and generator service company.
You will be responsible for the day to day performance of the Business Unit. You will motivate the team and ensure high levels of morale. You will carry out daily briefing sessions, improve process flows, manage logistics, final inspections and quality issues. You will provide on the job support to the team and deal with day to day customer requirements in line with business needs.
You will also be required to develop good working relationships internally and externally with customers and suppliers. You will report to the Traction Rewinds Manager and deputise for him where necessary. Career progression and development is available for the right candidate.
You will be a qualified Winder with DC motor experience.
You must be able to work to customer specifications and meet deadlines.
You must possess strong communication skills, with an ability to deal with people at all levels, excellent customer service skills and good IT skills.
You will have the confidence to deal with people, a strong engineering bias and previous experience within a similar environment is essential.
You must be committed to managing continuous improvement and monitoring a total quality process.
