Long term contract available to cover maternity for a manufacturing company based in Peterlee - to start July 2008
We are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to work in a team environment for our client, a manufacturing company based in Peterlee.
This position is to cover maternity leave and will be for approx 6-9 months although the term length could vary.
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working within this busy finance team you will assist in the following areas:-
Inputting and processing purchase invoices
Reconciling supplier statements
Matching invoices to purchase orders
Processing sales invoices
Dealing with invoice queries and liaising with suppliers/customers
Credit control
Petty Cash
Assisting with control of cash books
Journal preparation
Ad-hoc duties as required
This role will suit someone who enjoys a varied role within accounts and someone with a hands on approach.
The contract is due to commence July 2008 and our client is keen to recruit for this position as soon as possible therefore do not delay in applying.
